Desires, Fears, Loves

As spring arrives in the Northern Hemisphere and the weather changes
I find it's a good time to re-evaluate

A practice you can do on your own - with a journal, out loud, whatever way suits you
Or with a friend or partner

Holding space for truth to be set free
No judgments
No criticisms
No interrupting - if doing this with a partner

Set a timer for 2 minutes for each question
Allow everything to come through you
To spring forth from the depths of you

If you get stuck, just ask yourself the question again
If doing this with a partner - your partner asks you again

What do you desire?
The materialistic
The energetic
The big things
The small things
The things you don't believe you can have right now
All the things

What are you afraid of?
The little things
The big things
The day to day things
The monsters under the bed
The skeletons in the closet
All the things

If solo, What do you love about yourself?
If doing this with a partner, your partner asks "What do you love about me?" (your partner)
Body
Skills
Manners
Qualities
All the things

When you are done journaling or taking turns, thank yourself and your partner for the space to speak your truth

I find dancing it all out is a fun way to let it all move through
Put on some music - whatever is calling to you
Have fun
Shake it out
Stomp it out
Sound it out
Pleasure it out
However it all wants to come through your body

Notice any impulses that come through
Allow yourself to follow them
However feels yummy for you
At the pace and timing that feels delicious for you

No matter what the season, you can do this practice at any time
Feeling all the desires you have
Acknowledging your fears
Celebrating and loving yourself and others

What is springing forth for you in this moment?
